first place finish in regular season with a second place finish for the
playoffs along with Flintstone, Beam (should have went under!), and the

Super Bowl XLII Thoughts, Comments, Rants, etc.:
Congrats to the G'men proving again why we all enjoy sports in that in
any given game you never know who is going to win or what will happen
thus they play the game and we watch and enjoy. Hats off to Eli and Tom
who in mid season were being written off in the NY media and by many NY
fans. Again it shows why we root for our favorite teams and hope for
seasons just like this one as we all know it can happen but you never
know when it will happen. And now to the Pats, 18-1, and we all anyone
is going to remember is the 1! Just like everyone remembers Scott
Norwood for Wide Right, Bill Buckner for letting a ball go through is
legs, for Chris Weber calling time out when his Wolverines had none
left, all great examples of the agony of defeat!
These NY GIANTS are a great example of a Cinderella story that ranks
right up there with the 1969 Jets and Mets in New York sports lore.
Matter of fact this ranks up there with all of the great sports upsets
of all time!
